Nadya

Hey! I’m Nadya Dooley. I’m 14 years old, and home schooled. I play the violin, do karate and hockey, and I’ve been doing FIRST for nine years now. I live in San Diego, CA but I have another house in Winslow, AZ that my dad built when I was little. I enjoy reading and writing, and I wrote my first book when I was 12! I also like to swim, play on the computer, and hang out with my friends.

 

Ciara

My name is Ciara Dooley and I’m 15 years old. I’ve been doing robotics since I was 7 and still love it! I’m a high school junior and plan to major in robotics or mechanical engineering. I play the cello, do karate, love surfing the web, playing games, and rampaging around with friends.

 

Patrick

Hi, my name is Patrick Mulvany. I am 14, and have a brother is 11, and two sisters who are 9 and 6. I lived in Phoenix, Arizona until a year ago. I have been home schooled my whole life. I joined my FTC team because I love building robots, and I want to be an engineer when I grow up. I like flag football, basketball, and surfing.

 

Kirk

I’m Kirk Silva. I go to High Tech High Media Arts and have been a member of this team since 2009. I’m 16 years old and like computer games and music.

 

Sarah

My name is Sarah Conway. I'm 15 years old, and I love sketching, reading, anything computer-related, and music. I joined the team because it would give me a good way to have more programming and technical experience.
